8MP IP Box camera with integrated 22x zoom lens
The BC980H2 is a full-featured 8 Mpixel IP box camera with excellent low light sensitivity and HDR capabilities. Its integrated 22x zoom lens can perform a fast and reliable auto-focus over the whole range. The camera provides high-quality, clear images in any situation.
Multi-stream high definition
The camera has the capability to stream simultaneous quad video streams in H.265, H.264 and MJPEG. Multiple combinations of encoding, resolution and frame rate can be configured to fit in different live viewing and recording scenarios. Each selected resolution-frame rate combination can be freely set to a stream number. With optimized encoding H.265/HEVC, BC980H2 provides crystal images with low transmission bandwidth and storage capacity.
Image enhancement
BC980H2 offers ample image enhancement features such as black-light, high-light compensation, 3DNR and lens distortion correction etc to deliver great video quality for daily monitor purpose. It features dual shutter WDR for extreme dynamic range environment to keep the full details in bright and dark areas. With a built-in gyro, BC980H2 minimizes the effects from vibration to ensure the sharp and smooth video.
Cybersecurity
The essential protection starts when the camera out of the box. At the first login attempt, it’s compulsory to set up a strong password to a certain level. Using HTTPS SSL/TLS 1.2, web browsers and video streaming can be protected within a secured communication channel. The security boundaries are set using multi-level user management and system log records every configuration change as well as login attempts as the track. Network access is protected by IEEE 802.1x port-based authentication with EAP/TLS or EAP/PEAP.
Integration
Multiple options are available to easily integrate the BC980H2 into a video management system. In support of open standards, the camera is compliant with the ONVIF Profile S, Profile G and Profile T specification, which enables local storage compatibility and secure HTTPS communication. The BC980H2 seamlessly integrates with any Pan/Tilt station.
