The fingerprint reader is available in two versions:

1. Enrollment station: desktop model with stainless steel
   stand
2. Wall reader

The fingerprint reader works independently, without any additional software or other tools needed to use / recognize the card. The fingerprint reader does not use a database wherein the biometric characteristics of the fingers are recorded.

The biometric data of every person is recorded on their personal access card. This has many advantages:

• No database with biometrics characteristics
• Complies with the requirements imposed under the Privacy Law
• Everyone is holder of their own biometrics information
• There is always a double checkup of your information, namely your finger and the information recorded on the access card
• High processing speed (no searching of database)
• Extremely low error margin (always a 1 on 2
  comparison)
• No additional wiring or separate facilities needed to link
  and use the biometric fingerprint reader
• No extra PC work station for recognizing fingerprints,
  and therefore also not software installation and
  maintenance
• Always two different fingers will be used and stored in the card/or tag.

The fingerprint reader is for indoor and outdoor use, as long as it is not directly exposed to rain and sunlight. Outdoor use should preferably be applied after consultation.
